2010 Big 12 Championship Recap

More than 400 alumni and fans joined us on the sold-out official University of Nebraska Big 12 trip to Dallas, Dec. 3-5, 2011. The tour, offered by the Nebraska Alumni Association in partnership with the Nebraska Athletic Department, featured deluxe accommodations, a Football Friday event in Fort Worth, game tickets and a pre-game event in the Hall of Fame area at the Texas Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

Football Friday, on Dec. 3, drew more than 1,000 fans to the Lone Star in Sundance Square where they were entertained by former Huskers Matt Davison and Tommie Frazier, emcee Jim Rose, and a live broadcast of "Sports Nightly."

The pre-game Husker Huddle drew 1,100 fans for a Texas barbecue buffet, great giveaways and a live pre-game broadcast by the Husker Sports Network, featuring Greg Sharpe, Matt Davison, Lane Grindle and Brendan Stai. Special guests included UNL Chancellor Harvey Perlman, Athletic Director Tom Osborne and NU President J.B. Milliken, as well as former Huskers Tony Felici, Tommie Frazier, Harry Grimminger, Dave Rimington, Dean Steinkuhler, Mark Traynowicz and Eric Warfield.
