Formerly known as the Student Alumni Association, Scarlet Guard was founded in 1974 and is one of the oldest student organizations on campus. The group helps engage members with the university through more than 20 networking, mentoring and social events during the school year. We also work closely with our parent organization, the Nebraska Alumni Association, to help students develop relationships with successful alumni.
SAA/SG alumni are cordially invited to come back, reminisce with friends and learn about all the exciting changes that have transpired within the organization. Join us for these activities:
Time: Friday, April 15, 6:30 - 9 p.m. Location: Wick Alumni Center (15th & R)
Following Football Friday, join SAA/SG alumni for a cocktail reception and a trip down memory lane. The current Scarlet Guard board of directors will give a brief presentation about the newest facets of the organization. Hors d'oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available (first drink with our compliments). Price is TBD. Pre-registration is required. Group seating for the spring football game on Saturday, April 16 will also be available to SG/SAA reunion participants.
