Several thousand alumni and friends attended 60 events hosted by 28 campus departments and organizations during the second annual Husker SpiritFest/Alumni Weekend.

Six groups held reunions in conjunction with the festivities including alumni of color, UNL Libraries student employees, Cather Hall/Custer House alumni from the late 1960s, Love Memorial Hall alumnae, Sigma Nu and the class of 1960. Highlights of the weekend included the dedication of the new Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center, the spring edition of Football Friday and the spring football game, where alumni, fans and friends got a first glimpse of the 2010 Huskers.
